It’s worth noting that the Marks & Spencer Advent Calendar 2016 is the only advent that I’ve actually had reader requests to feature – last year’s customers certainly were very happy. It’s a little bit different in that it’s not a flat out buy – you need to spend £35 in M&S Beauty, Clothing & Home (excluding furniture) before you can then purchase the Marks & Spencer Advent Calendar 2016 for £35.
Even with that proviso, it’s well worth the spend if you’re looking for an advent this year because the contents are worth over £250. I have to say that the packaging is exceptional – each box contains a beauty treat worth having: everything from Alpha H Liquid Gold, Nails Inc Polish, REN Evercalm Global Protection Cream and Shay & Blue fragrance. As usual, I don’t spill all of the beauty beans because if you get this as a gift, I think it still needs to be something of a surprise.
You could certainly keep all of the boxes and build your own for next year – it’s sturdy enough to last a few times I think. At this point, with its mix of hair, makeup and skincare, this one is my recommended best buy for packaging, mix of sample and full sizes, variety and quality of content. The Marks & Spencer Advent Calendar 2016 launches on 10th November. I expect a RUSH!
