There’s nothing gentle about YSL Spring Look 2014 and it’s all on counter on 2nd of January so if you’re totally over the winter shades, you can start the new year nice and bright. Can I just point out that Piment D’Ailleurs above is from the forthcoming spicy collection and the second La Laque for spring is a pale pink (totally muddled two collections, camera is out of battery..no time to re-shoot.. argh!).
Swatched here are Rouge Pablo (brighter with a splash of coral) and Piment Ailleurs (from the Spicy Collection, not spring) but the other nail shade for spring is a pale pink, Rouge Scabiosa.
A brand new YSL Rouge Volupte in Corail Jalouse. I’m wearing it right now and it’s got reddish undertones but it’s gentler on the lip than you might think because it doesn’t knock all the colour out of your face like some reds do. It’s one of the most wearable red based shades that I’ve come across so I would highly recommend it. Corail Jalouse is £24. Once again, it’s a little hard to tell what’s new and what products constitute a ‘look’, so while there are other Rouge Voluptes I’m not sure that they are new.
There are also four new Gloss Voluptes but head to Marina’s site HERE for the full range as I don’t have them.
The finish is a black-undertoned purple mascara, in Captivating Purple, £23.50, with a purple liner (£19) and a collector Blush Palette, £42.50. It’s all available on-line now HERE.
