You can probably tell by now that it’s lip balm season! This must be my third lip balm post in a week, but my in-box is filling up with balmy news. I love both the YES TO Cooling Coconut Lip Oil and the Lip Balm – the balm is just on another level to Chupa Chups for example, while the oil is … well.. interesting. I love that it gives a really glossy finish and a (moderate) cooling hit, but I felt it was more of a surface application that wore off quite quickly. Very enjoyable while it lasted but I have a feeling you’d be reapplying all day long. It will be no surprise that it contains coconut oil, but also olive oil and eucalyptus.

The balm, on the other hand, did have better last – it’s mildly coconutty but I like coconuts so that’s fine. It feels nourishing (and more expensive than it actually is), made with aloe, coconut and shea butter and gives a low sheen. I also love the design of the packaging – it’s not going to roll off any surfaces and just seems more user friendly than traditionally cylindrical ones. I hadn’t really thought about that element until it was flagged up but we’ve all had the rolling balms, right? It’s also £3.79 which seems like remarkably good value to me. The Lip Oil is £7.99 and they’re both available HERE (actually they have 20% off).
