Wake Skincare Facial Cleanser

[unpaid/sample] Up to now, my favourite wash-off cleanser has been Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Pore Perfecting Cleansing Gel (£45) that is neither gel nor lotion but has a grippy effect on the skin that takes off absolutely everything to leave your face completely clean. Well, my big discovery is that Wake Facial Cleanser has the same (or very similar) texture and gives a wonderful cleanse for £9.99.

If I could liken the skin feel to anything, it would be runny honey without the stickiness. It has a slight foam to it but I think the thing you will notice most is the texture grip on your complexion – gosh, it’s lovely and nothing like a wash off gel. There’s a bit of blub about clearing out pores which is a bit of an oversell – it won’t get inside your pores and pull out whatever resides there – but it will give you a very effective, suit-all clean that doesn’t leave your skin dry so all in all it’s a complete win.
