Vieve Skin Dew Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I never quite know where I’m going to start on a Monday – I just sit down and hope for the best generally. I often use the weekends to experiment with new products, particularly make-up, so by Monday morning, I have several posts I can make for the week to come. It’s very clear this week which is going first because it blew me away – it’s truly one of the most stunning make up products I’ve ever used. I do not easily get excited about beauty products any more but Vieve Skin Dew is one that gave me all the beauty goosebumps.

Vieve Skin Dew is described as a glow multi-tasker but if you hate the idea of dewy look away now. If I could simplify this product in description, it would be a mega-watt, radiance infused, grown up version of Vaseline. Obviously, it’s a much more complex and sophisticated formula than petroleum jelly – but that’s the base description to get you on track with the texture. In reality, squalane, sacha inci and sunflower oil are the power players in this not-quite-liquid skin highlighter.

It gives your complexion an explosion of lightfulness while at the same time, gives it a dewy finish that elevates the radiance. And yet, despite all this super glow, you won’t look over done or metallic.

Sorry, but that is the best glow I’ve ever had – it catches even the weakest ray of light to amplify your skin.

If you don’t feel quite confident enough to wear this level of beam, mix a blob of Vieve Skin Dew into some moisturiser and apply in a more dilute format. You can add it into body moisturiser – get those shins and arms gleaming in the most subtle way or you can blend into your foundation before you apply and you’ll get a complexion oomph. The other trick is to add it to clear gloss or balm – the tiniest, tiniest amount for an elevated bare lip look. It’s £24 HERE but there’s a tiny version for £11 HERE. Personally, I think you’d be fine with the 7ml because you need so little to create the dewy effect. I’m genuinely thrilled with it. I also tried (see in the swatch) the Vieve Eye Wand in Hazelnut but – hate to say it – found it quite unremarkable and workaday.
