Top Ten Beauty Advent Calendars UK 2024

[unpaid/affiliate] I’ve predicted over the past few years that beauty advent calendars will fall out of favour and for all of those years, I’ve been completely wrong. In fact, they’re more popular than ever so, in no particular order, I’m flagging up my top picks for Beauty Advent Calendars 2024.

1 Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Beauty Calendar 2024

Price: £170 (Value £243)

Highlights: A careful selection of 12 glamorous ‘suit all’ shades and products in a jewelled drawer, heart shaped box.

Review: Interesting that Charlotte Tilbury has gone with a 12 day advent calendar – the absolute bonus of this is that they can be given on Christmas Day and then there are 12 days of opening thereafter. If you have a 12-day Advent calendar, you should start opening it on Christmas Day. This is because the 12 days of Christmas are not a countdown to Christmas, but rather an advent to a different arrival. The 12 days of Christmas stretch from Christmas to Epiphany on January 6, which is when Christians believe the Magi arrived at the manger (according to Wiki!). Best For: Charlotte Tilbury fans are absolutely die-hard and those who don’t have any want some. It’s a can’t-go-wrong option for literally anyone who likes beauty. Find it HERE.

2. Sephora Advent Calendar 2024

Price: £199 (Value £1000)
Highlights: There are 40 products, including 24 full sizes and 20 Sephora exclusives, packed into this bumper offering from Sephora that goes on sale from end of October. Rare Beauty, Glow Recipe and Makeup By Mario are just some of the big names featured in this absolute beauty monster! You can pre-order this and if you really want it, I’d take that option HERE.

Review: A great choice for those who love variety. The inclusion of both high-end and top trend brands means there’s something for everyone, and the value is unbeatable. Best For: Discoverers who love to try out different products.

3. Lookfantastic Iconic Beauty Advent Calendar 2024

Price: £100 (value: £565)
Highlights: There are 27 products in this calendar including the Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 59 Perfume Mist, Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum and offerings from Elemis, Aveeno and MAC.

Review: This feels like a more grown-up advent calendar with a bigger focus on skincare than any other category. There are more hair care offerings than in other calendars which makes it an excellent all rounder for beauty fans. Best For: Older beauty fans. It’s HERE.

4. L’Occitane En Provence Advent Calendar 2024

Price: £68 (Value: £129)

Highlights: Filled with 24 classic L’Occitane products all in handy minis and travel sizes.

Review: Simplified from previous years, L’Occitane calendars never disappoint and this 24 door offering is perfect for stocking up on carry-on size products. It has a broad reach, covering hair, face and body (Overnight Reset Serum is one of my favourite skin care products ever). Best For:  Travellers young and old. It’s HERE.

5. Yes Style Beauty Box ‘Christmas Capsules’ Beauty Advent Calendar 2024 TOP PICK

Price: £129.50 (Value: £350 approx)

Highlights: This K Beauty Advent Calendar would be my top pick for anyone wanting to discover the delights of Korean skin care and make up. It’s so different from any standard advent calendar, from the packaging (illustrated by @kukoo.kat) to the contents, it’s really a proper discovery box. I order a lot from YesStyle and never have any problems.

Review: You’ll find 24 products from TIRTIR, Unleashea, Medicube and Dasique – all of which you may well not have heard of but trust me, they’re good. I’d take this over any other this year for variety, quirkiness and discovery. Best For: True beauty adventurers and K Beauty fans. It’s HERE.

6. Jo Malone London Advent Calendar 2024

Price: £360
Highlights: A luxurious selection of fragrance and home scents, including iconic colognes and candles in sizes 9ml to 30ml.
Review: This calendar is a true indulgence for scent aficionados. While pricier, the quality and presentation make it a delightful treat for the senses – I’ve never known anyone disappointed with the Jo Malone London Advent Calendar – it feels like the treat it is. Best For: Luxury lovers far and wide. It’s HERE.

7. Anthropologie Beauty Advent Calendar 2024 Anthropologie Beauty Advent Calendar

Price: £88 (value £300)
Highlights: A mix of both high end and accessible brands, it looks as though the beauty buyers have gone to great lengths to make this 24 door advent calendar different from the usual suspects and therefore more exciting. The box is designed by London based illustrator, Nephthys Foster.

Review: Expect to see full, travel and sample sizes from Lanolips, Tocca, Oskia, Bloom & Blossom and Malin + Goetz, to name but a few. I like that they’ve included nail polish and hair accessories in the mix. It’s on pre-order now HERE. Best For: Arty types and fun fans.

8. Cath Kidston A Doll’s House Beauty Advent Calendar 2024

9. John Lewis Scented Candle Advent Calendar 2024

Price: £99

Highlights: Another 12 day option so the John Lewis Scented Candle Advent Calendar can be given as an on-the-day Christmas present. There are a variety of brands with hygge inspired scents to ensure winter cosiness in style.

Review: I think this is such a great idea – fragranced candles are always welcome, particularly in the low light of winter months. The featured brands are lovely – Neon, Aery and Skandinavisk, to mention a few. This is hours of scented satisfaction. Find it HERE.

10. Clarins Beauty Advent Calendar 2024

Price: £155 (value: £262).

Highlights: The calendar body is printed on FSC-certified paper with plant based and recyclable inks. It includes two of their famous Lip Oils and the iconic Beauty Flash Balm amongst 24 face and body pampering products in mainly travel sizes.

Review: A gorgeous box that replicates a Parisian facade and celebrates 70 years of Clarins. It’s a perfect mix of body, scent, face and make up with recognisable and reliably effective products. There’s nothing I wouldn’t use in here. Best For: Classic skin care fans. It’s HERE.
