Too Faced Candlelight Warm Glow

The original Too Faced Candlelight Glow was a very pink toned illuminator – hard to wear for warmer tones, which is actually quite unusual – it’s often the other way around. So, the brand is rectifying that pronto with Too Faced Candlelight Warm Glow, a champagne and peach highlighting powder duo.

This is definitely one of the better ‘glow’ powders around – it’s soft, light-blasted and very blendable which means you can do that soft focus thing seamlessly. At £25, it’s certainly better value than some of the current glow-getters, but still rather pricy. I always thought of Too Faced as ‘middle range’ price-wise, but I notice those ££££ just keep on going upward. One of the things I really do like about this glow palette is the candelabra detailing on the product that makes it so pretty and less ‘serious’ than other palettes.

The Too Faced Candlelight Warm Glow launches next month – I’ve just done a quick check around and the original is currently sold out, just in case you were tempted.

I have noticed the too faced price hike too but you know what it doesnt really bother me. Unlike brands like benefit who make cutesy packaging on sub par products which cost an arm and a leg, too faced, with a few exeptions, actually make brilliant products and i don’t know if this is just in Belfast but all you see is half empty, dirty, un-manned shelves when i think they would really benefit from an actual counter and Keeping stuff in stock!
