[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Very much a perk of this job is having access to luxury products to see if they live up to expectations. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t and we are in a world of choice when it comes to what we put on our face – too much choice really because I’m not sure I’d know where to start were I coming to skin care cold. However, I’ve always been open to high street brands because of not being a millionaire myself and not expecting anyone else to be either. I know that there is currently quite some belt-tightening when it comes to skin care spend so I was very happy to put the Superdrug Vitamin E Skincare Favourites Box through its paces.
Inside the box, you’ll find Vitamin E Night Cream, Moisture Cream (for day, I presume), Hydrating Mist, Hot Cloth Cleanser and the star of the show the Vitamin E Moisture Boost Facial Serum. That is a revelation and is doing exactly what it says it will by softening and moisturising my skin in a light-feel, morning fresh kind of a way.
The Superdrug Vitamin E Range is basic but it’s good – you are 100% going to get moisture from everything although the one thing I’d drop is the Moisture Spray because if you’re belt and braces with everything else, I just don’t see a need for it. Glycerin is high on the ingredient lists across the board as well as cocoa butter and shea, all of which are great for dry skin and everything is whippy and light in texture.
If you need to take a break from your expensive skin care range you could do a great deal worse than this and I’d suggest that even if you don’t try anything else, give the Vitamin E Moisture Boost Facial Serum a shot because it’s great. I don’t think I’d recommend for oily skin which needs a more specific texture but if you’re dry, go ahead! I have been looking forward to telling you the price of this box – £15! Find it HERE.
