Superdrug Bacne Spray

Funnily enough, this came with a release that is definitely pointed to men – but women get bacne as well! Either way, this is such a simple but spectacular idea that makes life just a tad easier because unlike a targeted spot cream you can apply it without the help of anyone else. A spot in the middle of your back, unless you’re super flexible, is something that you have to involve others in! With this, you can just waft the spritz and it hits the target, large or small, everytime.

There are many reasons that you might get a spotty back (and please remember that a spotty back and an infected acne’d back are different things – if you have angry and infected pustules, see your doctor) – not keeping your back clean and washed is one of them (especially after sweating it out at the gym). It’s hard to get to, right!! Remember those bath brushes everyone used to have, with a long handle? Nobody has those any more so unless you are bathing a deux, it’s tricky, especially if you have any kind of mobility issue.

I don’t have spots on my back so I can’t really test this one out, but feel it’s a great concept, particularly at £2.69. The product uses the highest permitted concentration of Salicylic Acid, so if you use regularly, you should see results. It’s not on-line yet but you should be able to find it in stores without any difficulty.

What a great idea. I have a bit of bacne from having long hair and use a Japanese exfoliating cloth. I’m going to give this spray a go.

Love this! Would have killed to have it in my bacne days! On the worst days I even had spots on my thighs. It’s probably great for spotty chests and shoulders as well! 🙂

I’m so happy to hear about this product. I had something like this in my late teens from Clinique and it was brilliant, a lifesaver. It was called something like Clinique Back and Chest Spray

Unfortunately it was discontinued circa 2008/09 (or maybe a little later). There was nothing else like it and I never found anything even remotely similar. Thankfully I didn’t really need it much by the time I was done with a couple of bottles. I was lucky and got to experience it right before it was discontinued! Even as a school student, I made sure to save to have a bottle around, it was that good. My best experience with Clinique to date (the 3-step didn’t work so well for me unfortunatley).

Anyway, I’m glad there is something similar available again and so much more accessibile in both distribution and price. There really need to be more skin products targeyed to this area for acne.

I have suffered with bacne that goes down my shoulders/ arms too since I was a teenager. This spritz has helped me no end! I am so happy with the results. It has changed my life being able to wear short sleeved / backless tops.
