Soigne Spring Colours

Soigne Spring

Selfridges used to stock a nail polish brand called Kure Bazaar that I was obsessed with – I loved it but for reasons that I don’t know, it disappeared. Its USP was that its formula used up to 85% of natural origin based on wood pulp, wheat, cotton, potatoes and corn. So does Soigne – and these ‘botanical’ formulas from past experience really do seem to bring something extra to the party in terms of gloss and longevity. It goes without saying that if you reduce the harshness of the formula, then it’s going to be a better deal for your nails.

Soigne Spring Nails looks milky and elegant; reminds me a bit of sugared almonds. Incidentally, the trio is supposed to be inspired by marshmallows – clearly the French brand hasn’t ever been exposed to the violently pink Tesco marshies. I’m googling French marshmallows now to see if they really are so Farrow & Ball.

Colourwise, the soft peach/pink shade is Creme Bavaroise, white is Vanille and leans to a warm white and the ashes of roses shade is Canneberge.

Soigne doesn’t get nearly much attention as it should – everything about this brand is elegant and stylish and I’m surprised that I don’t see it more often stocked in places like Selfridges or Harrods.. I think they’re missing something. Or, I could see it having a lovely home on Net-A-Beaute.

Soigne polishes are £11 each HERE.

  1. I cannot believe how gorgeous these polishes are! The packaging, the shades, the formula! I think I need to go shopping on their site at some point and treat myself!

    Hi Jane
I hope I didn’t imagine this (the chances of this are v high – I even turned up a whole MONTH too early to a hospital app this morning!), but…I’m positive I saw the Kure Bazaar range at large Boots?! Though now I am trying to google that nothing is cong up, so like I say perhaps it was all a dream!:) Perhaps somebody else can confirm one way or the other.

Maybe they’re store only, which would be unusual.. but I haven’t ever spotted them in Boots..

  3. I love Soigne after trying just one which I got in a birchbox last summer and it’s one of the only polishes that last really well on my nails. I just wish it was less expensive, but I’m noting Canneberg down for a treat next time!

I COULD be confusing it with Eve Snow nail polishes…sorry, but I will def check next time I’m in:)

  5. I am so obsessed with Soigne, I never really cared for nails until I came across this brand, they are everything I could ask for in a polish, elegant, glossy, perfection! Sugared Almonds… I’m going to end up eating my nails!

    Hi ladies,

Kure Bazaar is not stocked in Boots, however it will be relaunching in the uk at a very prestigious department store very soon, watch this space!

In the meantime, you can buy the lacquers online at lovelula.com and naturisimo.com

All the best, liz (UK PR)

I love everything about these, they look so elegant and sophisticated. You can never go wrong with a nude shade; I think I might have to check these out.

These colours are GORGEOUS! I wasn’t too thrilled with the last Soigne polish I tried though. But still, if the heart says yes, the common sense part of my brain doesn’t get a look it!
