Seche Nail Polish

I discovered some Seche polishes on Libertyoflondon.com – I don’t think I knew that Seche made colour. I’m absolutely such a fan of Seche Vite as a quick dry over colour – I use that or Lumos every single time I paint my nails and although Lumos is fabulous I still think that Seche Vite come out the winner. Has anyone else used Seche colour polish? I’d love to know what you think.

  1. I’ve got a few of their shades; I used one for the first time last week and found the formula a bit tricky to work with (it felt quite thick and didn’t look like it was drying down very well) but I’ve actually really warmed to it as the finish is amazing; it’s gel like, smooth and the colour is like nothing else I’ve tried. I wasn’t sure at first but I’m definitely a convert now.

    I did a NOTD here:

Sadly my application technique still sucks, but I’m getting better! xx

  2. I just received one in this months Glossybox. Have to admit I hadn’t heard of the brand until then. Have yet to try it out, might give it a go this afternoon.

  3. One came in my glossybox this month but it’s a bit of a meh shade! I’ll let you know how it turns out 🙂 x

I got a seche nail varnish in a beauty box this week. Much nicer colour on nails than in the bottle and really good cover. It says one coat but I needed two for full coverage though it is very highly pigmented. Lasted well and all in all it seems a really good quality varnish for the price. x

  5. I got one in this months Glossy box, it was a black/ grey colour called smokey. I found it was really good, very opaque. I could have got away with just one coat. I would recommend them!

  6. Thy launched at Olympia Beauty a few months back, all very classic colours. Haven’t tried one so keeping an eye to see what other people are thinking as the top coat is suppose to be the bees knees.

  7. I did receive one of these in the latest Glossybox too, in the colour Portobello which is very similar to O.P.I Over the Taupe. It did chip within a day but I do need to try it again with a top coat.

  8. I got the shade ‘inspiration’ in my Glossybox (like how everyone else here seems to have got theirs haha). The colour is quite beautiful, really quite interesting in different lights. I found it easy to apply though I did smudge it when I applied the top coat so perhaps wait a little longer before applying that… It seems to be wearing well. My job is really tough on my hands and I only have one tiny chip in a day which is fair to good wear on me.
I really like it and will definitely be wearing this shade a lot come summer (it isn’t really a winter shade as its a bright orange-based pink).
