Scala Bio Fir Anti-Cellulite Pants Review

I’ve been curious about these pants ever since I read about them on http://www.thelegroom.blogspot.com/ last year. I’d have to admit that I don’t do that well with other brands of er, support pants. For a start, they look absolutely hideous – there just isn’t another way to say it. Any woman clambering into a pair of beige pants that start somewhere under the boobs and finish just above the knee isn’t going to look stunning. At least, not until you slip into your little black dress and find yourself as pert and curvy as Jessica Rabbit, and then the fight to get into them in the first place seems worthwhile. And a struggle it is. When they first unfurl from the packet, Bio Fir look staggeringly small and they’re made from what feels like industrial elastic so the actual entry point seems like an impossibility. But with some wrangling you can fight your way in. I wouldn’t recommend these on a date – asking your fella to literally wrestle you out of your pants as you hang on to the bed post seems something of a passion killer. Bio Fir come with technology comprising of special material containing crystals that warm up when they come in contact with the skin, which in turn is said to improve circulation and encourage fat cells to melt. To be perfectly honest, the first ever pair of ‘well known brand’ support pants I ever tried made me so hot at an event I had to go outside and pull them down..yes, really! I got so hot I thought I would die….But, despite their heat billing, Bio Fir don’t seem to hold in heat quite so disasterously. They do give amazing support and completely smooth out lumps and bumps but I couldn’t wear them every day so have never been able to put the cellulite claim to the test. And, I’m absolutely certain any of these firming, pull in pants give you indigestion, too – just not sure how your internal organs are supposed to rearrange themselves when being nudged so firmly by compressed flesh. You also need to bear in mind that it takes at least twice as long to go the loo and don’t leave it to the last minute..these things take some pulling down! I think if you pick your pants and parties carefully and wear them on special occasions they certainly will give your figure a boost – but maybe not on the hottest day of the summer…or when you’ve had your full 2 litres of water…

This is one of the funniest things I’ve read in a long time – but it’s so true! These sorts of stomach-holding-in pants are such a pain to get in to, a pain when you need to go to the loo, and a real pain if you actually want to seduce someone. That’s without the general discomfort of sitting in a chair trying to convince yourself that shallow breaths is all you need while your vital organs are smashed up against your spine.

It’s no wonder that corset-wearing women got very little done in Victorian times.

Ack! No thanks. I’d rather cut out the junk food and walk more.

  3. Lol, is this a joke? There are only 3 things that can help you improve/reduce but not totally eliminate cellulite: diet, exercise and liposuction!

  4. I tried wearing something kind of like that (just a little less of it!) once when I was in a wedding. The bridesmaid dress was this flimsy fabric, and while I don’t have a lot of jiggle, you could see any little bump through it. It’s funny, I actually felt bigger with that thing on! It smoothed the silhouette and I’m sure it looked great, but I felt, basically, hot, uncomfortable, and even bigger.. Never again! 🙂

love the blog! Its good to know that I am not the only person trying to conform to the fashion of “petite is perfection”. Have tried something like it once only, and had to take them off within an hour and walk around commando at the wedding thereafter.

    Many thanks for the smile

After 3 pregnancies in 4 years, it definitely left a mark on my body…Stretch marks. I have them on my breast, stomach and back from my body growing to accommodate little humans. Since using the Somaluxe Glycolic Mask on them, it seems to have drastically lightened my stretch marks! I know they may never be gone but I am very happy with what the oils has done to them after almost 2 weeks.

You just apply the mask on your cellulite, leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse it off.
