Revlon Gel Serum Blush Review

[unpaid/sample] I thought we might as well have a whole Revlon day since the Revlon Gel Blush Serum and the Serum Tint work so beautifully together.

Revlon Serum Blush

These blushes are extremely lightweight on the skin – you won’t even feel them although they have a pleasant cool touch as you apply. The brand says that they’re made with glycerin and a ‘superfood complex’ so that they won’t dry out the skin – glycerin certainly will keep your skin moist but with no further info on the ‘superfood’ I’ve really no idea how that might help :-). What I can say is that these blend like a dream – literally seamlessly – and a little goes a very long way (as you’ll see!) so in terms of value for money, they’re very good value indeed.

I’m starting with ‘the one where I applied too much’ – Striking Rose. It’s easy to do because this blush, in particular, is highly pigmented. Consider how much you need to use and halve it! It’s the perfect shade for giving a hint of a flush on bare skin – I’m wearing the Revlon Illuminance Serum Tint here but I’d very easily wear Beaming Coral over bare skin with a hint of self tan.

If you love a berry/wine stain for skin, this is the one for you. There aren’t any rigid rules any more about who can wear what colour but I’d suggest that if you suit a blue toned red lipstick, you’ll suit this really well. It’s called Brilliant Berry.

A little flash of coral blush is the best way to give your face a boost of ‘wellness’. The way that these serum blushes blend out means they look more or less natural and that you’ve just been very blessed with these healthy looking cheeks. It’s an easy wear that requires little to no thought whatsoever – just leave your mirror looking like you’re ready for the day. It’s called Beaming Coral.

This is my favourite – Enchanting Mauve – because it immediately looks at home on my skin tone. I tend to opt for coral blushes but this mauve-hit tint is teaching me to open my eyes a bit more to this cooler tone. I love the look – Revlon Illuminance Serum Tint in Cool Beige with Enchanting Mauve blush. Both coming on holiday with me. You can find the Gel Serum Blushes HERE for £13.99 although I’ve seen them for £9.99 on other sites.
