Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butters

I have to admit, I’m looking forward to these lip butters; they’ve gone down really well in the US, and are a blend of mango, shea and coconut butters to give a sheer finish that adds a good smack of colour, too. This spring and summer is heavily about sheer lip looks which is perfect for me and I love that hint of a tint look in summer particularly. The only thing I don’t love is the packaging: smack that product in a more fancy tube and it would really be the business. The texture of the butters are actually a kind of gel and they promise to boost lip hydration, so I guess they’re going to act as a kind of balm. They launch in the UK on 14th March. www.worshipblues.com has swatches here: http://www.worshipblues.com/2012/01/three-smooches.html

  1. I’m really looking forward to these hitting our shores.

I have a feeling quite a few will find a home with me!

Yep, I can’t wait for these either and also not a huge fan of the packaging!

  3. There’s so much hype around these products. It looks like people either lover or hate them… I’m going to buy at least one for sure 🙂

  4. I am looking forward to these too- like I dont have enough lip products in my drawer.. *blush* sure i’ll be first in the queue at boots!! xx

  5. Thanks so much for the info on the UK release date, I’ve been wondering for ages! I’ve seen amazing reviews so can’t wait to try them 🙂

  6. Looking forward to these! I’m personally fed up with the drying lip stains that are around at the moment. x

  7. ooo I like the look of these. Its all about moisture for the lips so I can see these going down well here too 🙂

  8. I am really looking forward to these coming to the UK. I don’t mind the packaging. x

  9. I got the Creme Brulee version when I was in the states just before Christmas. I’ll be honest, it wasn’t the colour I wanted to try, but it was the only one available in CVS that I thought I would wear. They are nice, but this particular shade doesn’t have much colour. Perhaps that’s what will draw some people to them? I think they have a very similar texture/longevity to Chanel Rouge Coco Shine – so if you like them, you’ll be onto a winner with Lip Butters. That being said, I will still try some of the other colours that caught my eye when they are released here. Thanks for the heads up! x

yay I can’t wait for these to get here!

  11. I’m so pleased these are finally coming to the UK as I’ve been reading about them for what feels like ages! They look like they’ll be a more cost-effective alternative to Chanel’s Rouge Coco Shine which I really hope they are, as I’m addicted to Coco Shine even though they’re seriously expensive.

Makes sense that they’ll land on our shores on my birthday 🙂 I’ve seen about 4 shades I want to try already…Thanks for the landing date, can’t wait! xx

  12. Can’t wait for these, as I’m in desparate need for a good hydrating lipstick, especially in this weather.

SO excited for these. Literally anything with “butter” in the product name literally draws me in. Butter, lip butter, body butter, it just sounds so delicious and moisturising! Or maybe I’m just a marketeers dream.

We have these in Canada, and the packaging is actually not as cheap as it looks – this is coming from a bit of a packaging snob! The lighter colors I find are more sheer, while more intense looking colors pack quite a color punch! They are definitely one of my fave spring picks.

  15. Can’t wait for these to finally be available in the UK! Now just need to decide which shade(s) I want…..

  16. I’m ridiculously excited about these! Sheer creamy shades are my favourite lipcolours (I loved MAC’s Slimshines, RIP, and really love the Clinique Chubby Sticks). Which suggests I probably do not need these, but I sense I’m going to go a bit crazy on these nevertheless, especially since I feared they might not be launched here! The paler shades look a bit dodgy though, I’ll be steering towards the brighter shades!
