[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] This brand always knows how to bring in the seasons – as usual, and alongside all beauty (and fashion) brands, they’re way ahead of time but give us a little reminder that spring is on its way.
You really can’t go far wrong with kittens and flowers, right? A bunch of early daffs and that yellow case lipstick and yes, I will be your Valentine!
The lipstick colours are predictably – and reassuringly – upbeat. There isn’t a colour from this selection that I couldn’t, or wouldn’t wear and I always like the juicy formula that feels balmy more than it feels lipstick-y, leaving a dewy sheen across the lips. These are sunny day shades or shades for when you need to make your day feel sunnier than it is.
The shades above are Ma Copine (123), Poeme d’Amour (124) and Paris Romance (122).
In the swatch from bottom to top, it’s Ma Copine, Paris Romance and Poeme d’Amour. The cases are £7 each and the lipsticks are £14. If you think a few little kittens are restrained on the cat front (Sophie Mechaly, founder of Paul & Joe, depicts her two beloved cats, Gypsy and Nounette, on most of her beauty collections) then wait until tomorrow for full on feline in the second part of Paul & Joe Spring 2022! You can find the lipsticks HERE and the cases HERE. Genuinely, there aren’t many in stock as this is a very limited collection – more so than usual and I have no idea why.
Non-affiliate is HERE.
