[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] It’s ages since I’ve seen any Paul & Joe beauty but true to form, this brand continues to deliver quirky and delightful lipsticks that are more than just practical. This selection is, not unusually for Paul & Joe, cat themed (because the founder adores cats) and has three new offerings: Protective, Moisturising and Tinted.
The card case lipsticks reflect current Paul & Joe fashion prints, while the cat lipstick holder always sells out (see last paragraph before you set your heart on it). If you’re looking for non-traditional Easter gifts, look no further, particularly if you have a cat lover in your crew.
From left to right: Although I’d call these lip balms rather than lipsticks, the name is not my call so moving on – Protective (hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil and SPF25) which didn’t look great on my lips – it looks like sunscreen. Next, Moisturizing (hyaluronic acid, hydrolysed collagen, royal jelly and jojoba oil) which is very pleasant and cushiony on the lips but is colourless. Finally, my favourite, Tinted, which is a subtle pink pH driven shade and very comfortable on the lips.
In the picture, left to right is Protective, Moisturising and Tinted.
All of the lipsticks (£11 HERE) come separately to the cases so you can choose your shade and your case – they’re definitely more fun to buy than your regular lipsticks. The card cases are £7 each HERE. Annoyingly, and as is always the case with Paul & Joe Beaute, the cat holder is sold out just now. It’s one of those things that always happens and I get to the bottom of the post and discover the main event is not even available to buy.
By way of apology I’m showing you this Catiss version of a cat lipstick – I am torn between cute or creepy but feel like I’m edging to the latter. It’s half a cat leg. It’s available at lovely Yes Style where I buy a lot of quirky products for £16 HERE.
