Huge cat alert! The Paul & Joe 20th Anniversary Makeup Collection is ridiculously lovely, featuring past favourites in a set with a twist.
My press release says, ‘the cat is out of the bag’ and I can’t beat that one! The cat that you see folds out into a very decent sized tote and then folds away again when you’re not using it back into the little cat shaped pocket.
The tote has flowers and flamingos on the design, but wait… if you think that’s an explosion of pattern, inside the Anniversary box is also a beautiful makeup bag.
And, inside that.. is this!
A tiny little zip purse for lipstick or coins.
As far as the make up goes, the Face Colour is from 2005 (I still have my original one stashed away), the lipstick is from 2004 and the Pressed Compact was a celebration limited edition from Paul & Joe’s 10th Anniversary. The design on the pouch is from 2006. So you can see it’s a collection that represents the brand from its earliest days right through to present time. The cat tote though.
The whole thing is such a burst of joy and colour – I can’t see any Paul & Joe fans letting this one slip by! I don’t have an exact launch date yet but as soon as I do, I’ll flag it up. When it launches, the collection will be £60.
