Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm

I am so super-fussy about lip-balms, not least because there is a common ingredient that I have yet to identify in many that I am clearly allergic to because it makes things much worse! However, this is good. And, I mean goooooood! Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm is a combination of shea butter, eucalyptus and hyaluronic spheres (thank you very much!) and of course, hyaluronic is pretty much my dream ingredient. They say it ‘gently tingles’, I say, ‘nope, it doesn’t’… but that is a good thing.. I don’t want tingly lips. The balm does contain a peptide that plumps the skin over a period of time (haven’t used it long enough to see evidence of that) along with Omega 6 ceramide to help lips behave better and stop drying out in the first place. Virgin Ente Plum Oil (no clue, sorry) is also included to give suppleness and hydration.

So, in use, it feels wonderfully softening without over-glossing so it’s good for wearing under lipstick and gloss. It’s pretty much tasteless thankfully, and I would recommend it in a heartbeat, especially with autumn just round the corner, even at a slightly scary £35. Find it HERE

  1. Okay I pinned this to my beauty wish list!! Sounds fantastic!

  2. It sounds beautiful – and lots of us would spend this amount on the delicate skin around our eyes, so why not our lips? *she says, justifying it to herself*

    Nic x

  3. I am afraid I have to disagree. I got it as a GWP and I realised the main ingredient was …..(apologies, I’m trying to make a statement and can’t find a full INCI list anywhere nor can I find my box). Basically it was a type of wax that doesn’t work well with my skin. It sat on top of my lips for a good 6-8 hours but there was no moisturising action and my lips were not any better after it finally wore off. It was incredibly frustrating to feel it resting on my lips but never sinking in.

And this is coming from a die-hard Omorovicza fan!
