I remember first discovering OCC way back; if you don’t know the brand, it’s high, high pigment vegan friendly make up and a lot of the very saturated liquid lip colours we see today have taken their inspiration from OCC who were one of the first to be making such intense lip shades in the form of Lip Tars.
The original OCC Lip Tars came in tubes – I promise a little goes a very long way! The first time I ever used one I used far too much. Now, they’re updated into doe’s foot wands which does make it easier to use. I’ve pulled out a couple of shades from the 25 strong line up just in case you’re thinking of a Halloween look.

They’re awesome, aren’t they?! The slightly more reddish shade is a metallic called Black Metal Dahlia and the wine shade is Black Dahlia – more Rouge Noir than Rouge Noir itself! If you love a vampy lip, go HERE!

I was really excited about these until I realised that they are only £1ish cheaper than the original packaging but carry 5ml less product than the tube :/
To be fair, I doubt that even die-hard fans use a whole tube of one colour up but I thought that it was a bit disappointing that they’d chosen to do it that way (although I suppose the extra packaging has to be paid for as well).
I am a big fan of OCC, especially because they are vegan. I am really excited to try these out.
