[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] We have a lot to thank our Australian friends for – their expertise in sun care is next level and they have a lot more sunshine to deal with than we do. Naked Sundays hails from Aus and sure enough, these are some very nice textures indeed.
There are three new products in the Cabana collection: CabanaClear SPF5- Water Gel Serum – the first non-silicone 100% clear SPF serum. I’ll take a closer look at that one in a separate post. Next is CabanaCreme SPF50 Hydrating Sunscreen Moisturiser and the one I’m focusing on today – CabanaGlow – Mineral Glow SPF50 Serum Drops.
Naked Sundays Cabana Glow Mineral Glow Serum Drops are, as you can see, very fluid which makes for very easy blending. It’s fundamentally a skin tint so you get a little bit of coverage, a little bit of blur and a little bit of glow along with your skin protection. Actually, on the Sephora website (UK stockist for NS), instructions for use are that it can be worn under make up or on its own, but the next paragraph says SPF should be worn as the last step over your make up. So I think that needs a bit more clarity.
You can see in the wear that there’s a bit of glow (not bad for this sunless, dull day) and the blend is good – even and easy to apply. Don’t forget that you need to be quite generous with this and you also need to reapply regularly. A skin tint is the easiest SPF to reapply to the face because it doesn’t really disturb your make up other than blush. There is a bit of pearl in the blend that I could detect very close up to the magnifying mirror but away from that, it’s not really noticeable. It’s £34 (not in stock quite yet although the other Cabana products are). If you’re curious about the Clear Gel Serum (I think this will sell out) it’s £25 HERE.
