Nailtiques Formula 2

In the summer I was despairing of my awful, breaking, peeling nails – bearing in mind how much I love nail polish, nails that aren’t perfect just spoil all my fun. Actually, it was through moaning on Twitter (really, I should not do that.. I hate it when anyone else does!) that the PR for Nailtiques caught one of my Tweets and sent me a bottle of Formula 2, specifically designed for weak, flaky and soft nails. Now, I have to say, I’m completely impressed. I use it as a basecoat every time I change my nail varnish (at least 3 times a week) and it has genuinely made a difference. I still have one nail that is peeling but the others have stopped. I don’t quite care how it’s doing what its doing – the important thing is that it really, truly is. I’d say it’s taken at least a couple of months for tangible improvements to show, but now there is no doubt that it’s done the job. Nice one, Nailtiques.

I LOVE this. My nails used to split beyond about 1mm of tip growth but if I use formula 2 religiously for no more than a couple of weeks, they grow and are very hard, and look fake. Don’t know how it works either but it is miraculous stuff!

  2. This looks really great, I have the same problem so I’m guessing this is something i should look into!

I just had to repurchase the formula 2 plus, because the results are just remarkable. There was a noticeable difference within 4-6 weeks, but it’s been 4-5 months now and my super bendy, peely nails are so thick they look like acrylics! I, too have wondered how it works, but realized I don’t care either. This is truly a Holy Grail product!

  4. I wish this worked for me (if my nails start to peel I end up swapping to a hydrating base coat)! Often if your nails are peeling they aren’t getting enough moisture. Make sure you wash your hands immediately after removing your polish (soap is basic to kill the acid of polish remover) and use nail oil religiously!
