Molton Brown Baubles

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I like the way that Molton Brown has gone facet cut on this year’s baubles – it makes a change from the usual globes and gives it a bit of extra luxe – especially for the sparkly Vintage With Elderflower fragrance.

As a family tradition, we put a small present on the Christmas lunch table as the last hurrah in the gift opening and these baubles are absolutely the ticket for that. It dates back from when the children were little although my mum and dad started it with some Santa figurines that initially came with the sack full of chocolates. My mum hung onto them and out they came every year with just one last present to open.

In terms of fragrance, there are seven to choose from – Mandarin & Spice, Vintage & Elderflower, Wild Mint & Lavandin, Recharge Black Pepper, Fiery Pink Pepper and Delicious Rhubarb and Rose. My brother-in-law gets a bottle of Recharge Black Pepper as standard every single year (turns out me and my mum have got him exactly the same combination of a Boss T-shirt and a bottle of Recharge Black Pepper this year – he will think he is seeing double!) and that’s a very popular fragrance for men.

If you have people coming to stay, the Molton Brown baubles are so lovely to have in the bathroom or with the guest towels – little touches like that are appreciated. They’re a bit heavy, if I’m honest, to hang from the tree, although it might just be my little tree (we gave up on real trees a few years ago and it’s the best festive decision I’ve ever made – back it goes into the cellar every year and comes out again good as new and I haven’t had to get the hoover out once!). If you’ve got a big tree with sturdy branches you’ll be absolutely fine hanging these for guests or family to take off when it’s shower time. They’re £10-12 each HERE. Did you know that Molton Brown also has an outlet page? You can pick up the very bracing Silver Birch Shower Gel full size for £17.50 instead of £25 HERE.
