The joy of these lipsticks is that, while there is plenty on offer for full-on colour saturated lippies, these are for women who don’t want that look.
They’re sheer which means that you get all the pleasure of a lipstick but none of the intense colour commitment. I don’t know anything more ageing on the lip than a matte lipstick so these are mercifully sheen-y with enough light on the lip to be any-age flattering but not so glossy as to be a bit too ‘young’. Michael Kors does what I call ‘American Chic’ really well.. he’s carried it through to the make-up range too.
