Melvita Floral Bouquet Extraordinary Waters

Wow! I’m so impressed with these gorgeous waters from organic brand Melvita. It’s hard to explain the texture because they are so unusual, but I guess it is a bit like thick water if you can imagine such a thing. Maybe a better way is to say they are like a light, highly fluid serum with none of the associated silicones or stickiness. They’re completely clear, lightly scented with the relevant flower hydrolat (the water that’s collected after flowers or plants have been steam distilled) and boosted with Hyaluronic acid so your complexion gets a moisture boost.

Rose is for anti-ageing, Orange Blossom is for extra moisture and Narcissus is for brightening and they can be used morning or night time under moisturiser or, if your skin doesn’t need anything else, instead of. I’ve tried the Rose Extraordinary Water (£12), and it is really a beautiful product – very quick to absorb but with a consistency initially that makes it easy to massage in. The scent doesn’t linger, but gives a lovely blast of flowers that is immediately cheering and then all but disappears once the fluid has soaked in. They’ve all got other extracts to promote anti-ageing, boost radiance and regenerate (such as lemon, water clover, fig extract and orange extract) and I’m completely in love with them. If you told me they were double the price, I’d still be recommending. All out fabulous, and I don’t say that very often. Melvita really is one to watch since they keep coming up with very good quality products at reasonable prices.

  1. I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but what do you actually use these waters for?

  2. These appear to be on sale at the moment – some are only £6! Good incentive to try I think..! 🙂

  3. I love these too – I have to review them very soon!
