Nudes with a difference from Maybelline Color Show – at first I wondered how the glitters could possibly be part of a nude range, but they actually work really well thanks to fine dispersement of the glitter particles. Furthest in the picture is In Your Flesh, which is a warm buff shade, second along is Bare It All, more of a pale putty shade.
I used Bronze Me Up glitter over the buff nude and Undress to Impress gold glitter over the putty shade and they’re just brought to life with the addition of glitter. I’m totally glitter averse unless I’ve got a glitter undercoat – I’ve wasted too many hours scraping away at chunks of glitter on my nails trying to get them off, but I’d make an exception here because the nude shades are so much better for the little shards of light that the glitter brings. My camera doesn’t catch sparkle well, so you’ll just have to trust me – they sparkle! At £3.99 a pop, I think they’re great value if you want to get in on the nude nail trend. Maybelline Color Show Nudes are in Boots now.
