Any Milky Bar kids out there? If so, you’re going to love the Makeup Revolution Naked Chocolate Palette – all the melty ooze on the outside, pared back and elegant on the inside.
The Makeup Revolution Naked Chocolate Palette is such a beautifully considered palettes – it’s got some rosy notes, but actually sticks to more sandy, earth tones that are easily wearable. The one thing I will say, and you will see in the swatches, is that the sheens (which are very sheeny) swatch better than the mattes which need a little more work. I usually do a one-swipe swatch so you can really see what you get on first use, and some shades need more building than others.
I’m going row by row, so beginning at the top, we have: Smoothly, Divine, Mocha Lover, Dipped and Choc Fest (which in real life isn’t quite as burgundy as it looks here – more brown, but I’ve tried it both with the camera and iPhone and each time it converts it).
On the second row, all colours run true, and you can see what I mean about the mattes needing a bit more blending than the sheens. So, we have: Adorable, Buttons, Frosted Choc, Delight, Sweet Shop and Sugar.
Again, row 3 is competely true (eek, my hairy arm though!). From left to right: Double Dip, Tob-Le-Rone, White, Milky and Way. And no, white isn’t white, it’s brown! The shade I’m instantly in love with is Way – so soft, so sheeny and a proper light catcher to be the perfect backdrop to a smokey eye. Naked Chocolate has put another twist on nudes and at £7.99, it’s more than handy to have in your collection if you love to do smokeys.
The Makeup Revolution Naked Chocolate Palette launches tomorrow (Wednesday) and I’ll come back and put the link up when it’s ready, but for now, it’s a sneaky peek for BBB readers.
