MAC’s summer collection of Pearlfusion palettes are gorgeous. I have a couple here to swatch and I love the practicality of them. Make-up is so transient (personally I have a major crush on a colour for weeks at a time and then something else comes along and my crush transfers – fickle, I know!) and I like the fact that there are five narrow strips of colour that might actually get used up (compared to all the mostly-full full-size shadows I’m harbouring).
MAC Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Palette in PinkluxeThey’re mostly high shimmer with one darker matte shade to line or define and the shadows themselves are very soft. The coverage is amazing – my only thought with Pinkluxe above is that the first two shades are virtually identical – I think that one could have been edited better.
I love the smokiness of the Smokeluxe palette.. I can see I would get a lot of use from this because they’re exactly my shades.
See what I mean about the first two shades? Hard to tell them apart, really.
Because of the softness of the textures, there is a bit of fall-out from these so apply with care. There are six palettes to choose from.. not sure how much they will be but they hit MAC stores in August.
