Ah, the MAC Nutcracker Sweet Christmas range is such a joyful collection! Lots of pinks and purple, but the right kind of pinks and edgy on the purples – but nudes and reds also, because… Christmas! I have a few items from the collection but it’s well worth browsing through properly (Selfridges best destination for a browse because the MAC site is new and updated, I still find it a bit chaotic.
Above is Magic Dust Powder in Yum Yum Yum (actually torn from Terry Barber’s own hands – and being returned! samples are so limited on this collection, but where there is a will there’s a way!) It’s a shimmery, mid-pink with just a touch of gold; use it on face or body for a fine twinkle veil. It’s £24 HERE.
The two lipsticks I have here are Kingdom of Sweets (pink) and So Good For You. So Good For You is a matte formula in a vivid pink-red (HERE) while Kingdom of Sweets is in the Creme Sheen Formula HERE. They’re both £17.
The three shadows I have are Magic Dust Eye Shadow in Dark Lullaby (aubergine with shimmer), Pretty Dainty (peach-pink with gold shift) and Dance Flowers Dance Nude Pink Frost. They’re £17.50 each HERE.
In the swatch from left to right are: Dance Flowers Dance, Pretty Dainty, Dark Lullaby, Yum Yum Yum, Kingdom of Sweets and So Good For You.
