MAC In Extra Dimension Skin Finish

If there is any one guaranteed sell out from any MAC collection, it’s the Skin Finish. As part of the Magic Of The Night Collection, there are two new MAC In Extra Dimension Skin Finish products coming – Oh, Darling in a metallic gold and Shaft of Gold in a bronze shade, which I have here. It might surprise you to know that a quick check on Ebay show variants of the Skin Finish commanding $250. THAT’s how popular they are.

In texture, it’s a creamy powder – you can buff this onto your skin to give it light like no other. While it’s not the kind of product that I use personally, it gives skin that ray of luminosity that you see in magazine pictures and can only ever wonder how it happened!

The Magic Of The Night Collection launches in November, but on the MAC site you can sign up to be notified of the launch – and I think that’s what it’s going to take if you want to get your hands on this season’s Skin Finish (£26.50). Also, keep your eyes peeled on the Selfridges website because they often have little exclusive scoops (I’m sure I saw on Instagram that one of the US stores had this ahead of time).

I’ve got more of the Magic of The Night Collection to show you – some gorgeous shimmer shadows – in a later post. But for now, are you a Skin Finish fan? Would you pay $250 for it? The UK MAC Site is HERE.

Definitely would not pay $250 for it but it does look pretty amazing!

    Does it accentuate fine lines?

It’s a very soft, almost wet powder in the finish that needs some buffing up to look its best, so it would be less accentuating than a straight powder but more than a creme. Somewhere in the middle I guess is the answer.

I want my hands on them so badly, hoping I will be able to get them instore. Way too exciting!
