[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] So, here we are – Hypnotizing Holiday with visual trickery, clever packaging and shade shifting colours. Before I go into some of the product line for the festive season, I’ll just flag up that there is a Black Friday deal (I can’t even remember when this is because brands are delivering the deals so soon) that’s well worth looking at – £58 with a £140 value HERE. There’s also 50% of many products – in fact, I don’t think I remember MAC having so many value products.
My favourite of the pieces I have here is this optical illusion mini lipstick trio – the packaging is just so cool and the lipsticks are in a wearable mix of neutral tones.
The shades are Awe-spicious: Warmy pinky nude (Matte), Snappy-Go-Lucky: Rosey nude (Matte) and Sleight Of Grand: Warm pinky brown (Amplified). There is a red toned version too.
The first three in this arm swatch are from the trio which is £25 HERE.
Next up are the shade shifting duo chromes – there are five colourways and I have Calling Your Bluff (left) and Behind The Curtain shown above. Actually, I found these quite difficult to apply – you need to layer several times to get sufficient colour depth and they don’t glide in the way I’d expected. That said, if you’re prepared to put the effort in, the finish is good.
They’re £17.50 each HERE.
I love the Powerpoint Eyeliners turned into magic wands for the season. There are five shades – £16 each HERE and mine is in Snow Way which is a pearlescent white. You can also see Lipglass in Mocha Swirl – a golden shimmer that is very wearable either alone or over any other colour (it’s in the lip set swatch). It’s £16.50 HERE. They both come in the swirly boxes so look the part opened or not.
MAC Christmas isn’t complete without a big red – this is the matte shade Wild Card which is a blue red. But there are four other shades including a vivacious pink called Say The Magic Word. They’re £17.50 each HERE.
This to me is the most ‘MAC’ of all the MAC holiday offerings – the sheen. The powders for this formula are so soft and this is something that can be used all year long (if you don’t mind looking at Christmas packaging in June!). This is in Step Right Up and Alche-Me. Easy to use, easy to wear because it’s not super high beam and easy to like, it’s £27 although not showing on the MAC website other than in a copper toned version HERE.
If you have beauty fans to buy for I think this could be a one-stop shop – there’s something for everyone here. I’ve got a lot of MAC lipsticks by anyone’s standards and yet I still want the mini lipstick vault! Your non-affiliate link is HERE.
