[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Thank you MAC for making an advent calendar that is a manageable size but still houses all the MAC goodies you could want! Once again, there’s a folding and packing genius out there who should get a medal – the difference with the drawers in this one is that they are all set on an angle, which goes very well with the psychedelic spirals! Wow – sunglasses on :-). I’m posting this today (Thursday) to optimize chances of getting hold of one so there will be only one post tomorrow (Friday).
This is all the avant garde we need to brighten the forthcoming wintery days – it’s an absolute ray of light and bright with an optical illusion theme. As you can see, it folds out from that neat and tidy box so you can access the drawers but slides back to tidiness very easily so it’s there as you would like it – open or closed.
The product selection is a mix of full and small sizes with a total of five lipsticks, as well as gloss and liquid lipstick offerings. Eyes are well catered to as well, and you can expect to find plenty in the priming department too. I’m surprised there is a nail product in there, but there is and if you’re short on cleanser, you’re in luck!
Colours tend to veer neutral which is a current trend but also covers off the suit-all requirement for products like this and textures are varied.
So, in keeping with most of the popular calendars, you will have to be quick about this. It’s currently on-line HERE for £135 (£340 value) and if you don’t find it through that link to MAC you may find it at Look Fantastic HERE. If you miss out on-line it will be at MAC freestanding stores, Selfridges and Harrods from 21st October. MAC’s advents always feel very covetable to me – it’s the one for all ages, genders and tones. If you think that beauty advents are getting more and more expensive, you’re right – but let’s take a moment to think about the $700 offering that Guerlain has in the USA! Wow.
