Luxury Line for UK: Le Metier de Beaute

Available in the States at Neiman Marcus, luxury cosmetic brand, Le Metier de Beaute, is set to launch in the UK. Behind the brand is music mogal, Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid, so it’s no wonder Mariah Carey is counted as a fan. Le Metier de Beaute is roughly in line price wise with Chantecaille which should prove interesting in the credit crunch, with the colour stack shown above selling for $95, and a lipgloss retailing for $36. I’ve no information at present on where it will be stocked (Harvey Nichols is my first guess, although Selfridges are being fairly relentless in their drive to grab anything and everything first). It’s a sleek, if somewhat bland looking line, but I can’t wait to see where it lands.

This is my favorite line it looks basic but the technology behind it and sensitive formulas are what make this line a winner in every formulation!
PS this is not LA Reids line, he hosted a party in NYC.

Le Metier de Beaute has arrived in the UK! It’s exclusive to Liberty’s London! They have just opened last week and are offering complimentary makeup applications to introduce everyone to the brand. Liberty’s contact number is 0207 734123 ext. 2190. I went over the weekend my and had my makeup done. I looked amazing and bought everything that was used, it’s the first time I have been able to re-create smokey eyes and flawless skin. The products are simply amazing and the staff were so friendly and knew exactly what look I was after. I advise everyone to give them a call before the offer is off!

  3. Anonymous, if you don’t work for Le Metier I will eat a tube of gloss. I’ve only let this post through so others can see what a fake post looks like.

Great brand however I recently has to replace my eyeliner pen twice now and they only last 2 months. A very expensive option to apply eyeliner I may have to go back to my Laura Mercier!

Had discovered this line when it appeared in the uk by chance. They had a very talented artist who worked there that was over seeing the brand she did my makeup on several visits. However she has left and since returning have had my foundation mis matched on 2 occasions. I bought a lip brush a while back and all the bristles are actually coming out now as it’s falling apart. Not sure maybe the brand is not going to last in the uk as when I went to NY it was hidden away in a corner at Bergdorff
