L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Nail Collection: Mini Polish

L’Oreal Paris are bringing out a very impressive range of 5ml mini nail polishes in April based on gel formulas. I’ve had a couple of samples to play with and really like them – especially the brushes which make for very simple application. There is a great deal of technical stuff surrounding the brush, but enough to say here that it delivers the right amount to the nail and I found I got pretty much a perfect application.

The ‘gel’ technology is great; the polishes give a very high shine finish that banishes the need for a topcoat but personally I am such a Seche Vite addict I couldn’t help myself and added a coat. It definitely knocked off some of the shine. With 41 colours, it really is the new nail varnish rainbow with shade inspirations from everywhere – even Marie Antoinette’s boudoir (Shade 202).

Best of all, for polish addicts everywhere, the 5ml pots at £4.99 a pop means that we might actually get to finish a bottle, and hopefully have a selection of shades.

Three of the L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Nail Collection swatched, 109 (brown), 504 (pink), 602 (green)

  1. super super super excited about this collection. This reminds me (well apart from how technical the brush is and the fact that the fancy gel formulation) of the mini gosh polishes which only lasted a total of 30 days on the shelves :'(

I am hoping this is not going to be a limited edition. Do we have an estimated date for release? x

  2. Trimperley

Like the price and size of bottle but 41 colours with at least 8 sludgy shades to choose from is too much for me.

I’m intrigued to see the technically advanced brush, are you forbidden to photograph it?

  3. niche

Is this international release or just UK/Europe? I would love to get this in Canada.
