Look Good Feel Better Spring Beauty Box 2024 Review

[unpaid/sample] I knew that June was going to be a busy month but it’s taken on a life of its own so this week, I’m taking the stress off myself and only posting once a day instead of twice otherwise I’ll implode – or explode – not sure which but neither are good! So, for today, it’s a great pleasure to focus on the Look Good Feel Better Spring Beauty Box 2024 – £146.74 worth of gorgeous products for the snip of £50. Look Good Feel Better has been part of my beauty world for ever (it was founded in 1994) and does the very special job of helping women with cancer boost their self esteem and confidence at a time when nothing feels certain. I have friends who have benefited from the workshops and they loved the experience as well as being with other women who ‘get it’ and understand all the emotions and physical effects that cancer and its treatment brings.

I have to say that this is a great box with several things that I’ll come back to in a dedicated post. Every box sold will fund a place at one of the Look Good Feel Better Skincare & Makeup Workshops. It’s being sold at The Perfume Shop (I’ll drop the on-line link in at the end) if you have one near by.

As you can see, there’s Charlotte’s Magic Water Cream, a lighter weight version of Charlotte’s Magic Cream (value £26) which is a handy 15ml travel size. OPI’s Nature Strong nail polish will come in either Simply Radishing (as seen) or Emflowered which is a baby pink shade. This is great timing for the sun coming out and therefore toes!

There’s a huge (250ml) Olaplex No4C which is for deep cleansing – great for swimmers as gets rid of chlorine, but over and above that, rids the hair of heavy metals and pollutants without stripping. A little Roget & Gallet soap – one of my favourite things – in Bois D’Orange which is a fresh, summery eau de cologne scent, and Dr PawPaw’s Soothing Hand Cream which is very lightly (and naturally) scented with pawpaw. Let’s pay a bit of attention to Britney Spears Fantasy 10ml scent – it’s a fruity fragrance that turns out to be a gentle wear. I can’t say I love it but it has exceeded my expectations.

The Summer Bloom version of the classic Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm (to note – this has an RRP of £29 so the box price covers this and the CT Cream and everything else is a bonus) which has the most lovely scent of mimosa, meadowsweet, sweet orange and juniper to bring your daily cleanse up a notch. Beauty Pro’s Sheet Mask is a handy beauty cupboard staple for rebalancing oily t-zones and hydrating dry points – a double win.

My favourite thing (because I love colour) is the little set of Dr Lipp Tints with 100% natural ingredients. In fact, there are only 6 ingredients in each product so if you’re looking to downsize your ingredient load, they couldn’t be better. Red is Red Radish, berry is Elderberry and pink is Sweet Potato and all coloured with the pigment they’re named for.

That red is very much like Glossier’s red! Anyway, please do find the link at the box’s sponsor, The Perfume Shop, HERE.
