L’Occitane Shower Foams

[unpaid/sample/ad/affiliate] These are just delicious – and thankfully a far cry from cinnamon and spices that often overtake everything bathing at this time of year. If you like fresh, fruity and foamy, they’re for you. I should say that you might want to hold fire because L’Occitane usually do a Black Friday event (20% off) but there’s no guarantee that there will be plenty of stock. Actually, I was chatting to someone from a brand who explained that across the board there is difficulty sourcing raw ingredients and added to that, social distancing in warehouses is holding things up – I’ve certainly noticed that stock levels are reduced and/or variable as well as certain items selling out very fast and not being replaced. When you’re searching every day it’s very obvious.

These give such a joyful dollop of flumpy, whippy, soft foam with each press of the nozzle. Personally, I would not be wasting them in the shower because they’re rinsed away so quickly but instead taking my time in the bath. The foam is so silky and moisturising and made for massaging over damp skin so that the scent fully materialises.

Verveine Mandarin has the classic eau de cologne backdrop with an orange led note and a woody backdrop. It’s not really a fruit explosion – it’s more complex than that – but if you like citrus, I can’t see what’s not to love. Bergamot falls within the Shea range and is more citrus-floral without being too sweet. They’re just both vibrant and uplifting – and fun. They’re £15 each HERE, non affiliate HERE.
