L’Occitane Comforting Oil

Pricy as this is at £29, it’s the very thing for sore winter skin. If last week’s cold snap got to your complexion, this won’t irritate things further but will moisturise and calm. Claiming to strengthen barrier function, it’s 5% shea and marula oils and feels genuinely soothing to the skin.

I’d also consider this for skin that’s been over exposed to the sun, and virtually essential for ski-ing where sun, cold and wind can get you! When I used it overnight, it really did leave my skin ridiculously soft and smooth, but please bear in mind that at the time I wasn’t having particularly dry skin issues. A good way to eke it out further is to blend it with your normal night cream just to boost it up.

As you can see, there’s a Soothing Fluid as well with airless packaging to stop any bacteria entering the pot – if you have super-sensitive and dry skin, it’s well worth considering.

You can find the L’Occitane Comforting Oil HERE and the Soothing Fluid (£32) HERE.

I will, I’ve read a couple of reviews tonight and it sounds just what I’m looking for, none of my usual eczema creams or moisturisers are working. Skin is very sore, cracked and dry, this time of year is horrible xx
