[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] If you’re a L’Occitane fan, you’ll already know the sweet, nutty aroma of Amande, and if not, the new whipped shower cream is a very good introduction. If you hate almonds – and I know they can be divisive – this is definitely not for you, but otherwise, this is one of the most beautiful aromas around.
A good whippy texture needs to have an appropriate amount of floof – your squeeze of floof should be flumpy in the hand with a bit of wobble and then soft and creamy on the skin as it deflates. It’s a double yes for this product which is really just a bit of a joy to use although I’m generally not a shower fan. You can use it in the bath of course (I did) or, more accurately, just before you get in the bath on damp skin.
It’s a very satisfactory thing to squish a floof like that over your body. Because it transforms to an oil like texture on contact, I’d say that’s a decent whole body amount so at £17.50, it doesn’t seem too expensive for such a texture treat. I always like the floral aspect to this take on almond – it’s not all marzipan and vanilla but more of a sophisticated take on almond enriched with sweet almond oil and light flowery notes. However, if you cannot handle a Battenberg, maybe don’t try your luck here ;-). You can find L’Occitane Amande Delicious Shower HERE.
