[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] My favourite detox shampoo is Living Proof Clarifying Detox Shampoo which I have to restrict myself to using once a week because I want to use it every single time I wash my hair. I’m absolutely an advocate of detox shampoos – conditioners, masks, oils and serums all build up and not only kill the shine but make your hair nigh on impossible to get really clean with regular shampoos.
Too much product absolutely kills my hair – it looks dull, feels weird and I just don’t like it so I rarely use hair spray or stylers. The new Living Proof Leave-In Conditioning Spray is exactly the right level of conditioning I want on detox day. Given that washing and drying my hair is my least favourite beauty chore, I appreciate the leave-in aspect so much for saving me the extra rinsing of a traditional conditioner. I also love the fact that it provides UV protection because now that my hair is (failed grey) blonde, I have very much noticed that sun damage on hair is a thing. I’ve even started to get my head around the Living Proof Triple Bond Complex which is a hair strengthener but it’s too soon to say if my hair is any better for it.
