I’ve seen so many reviews of this protective top coat that transforms your favourite mascara into a water-resistant version of its lovely self, and they’re pretty well all outstandingly good. It’s been available in the US for a little while and is selling like the proverbial hot cakes which is always a good sign.


For me it falls into the same camp as Urban Decay All Nighter; a brilliant ‘tool’ that starts off as optional and ends up as essential. All you need to do is add a quick coating of Lash Genius over whatever mascara you are wearing to ensure it stays put. It also protects and refreshes whatever mascara you are wearing at the time to give it a longer last effect with no clumps or lumps. Given the UK weather, its nickname of an Umbrella for Your Lashes is pretty apt, and just like an umbrella, I suggest you keep it in your handbag so that rain never stops play.
