Lanolips Strawberry Lip Scrub Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I used to love a really scrubby-scrub but now I prefer a milder, more gentle approach to smoothing and softening lips. The Lanolips Strawberry Lip Scrub is not a super-scrubby-scrub but you will definitely feel granules of sugar exfoliating their way around any dry skin.

The strawberry flavour? Well, let’s say it could be worse. It actually is quite strawberry-ish in that it’s sweet and fruity – I got an initial hit of wild strawberry – and I quite liked it. Most lip balms and scrubs use artificial flavouring but in this case, the strawberry flavour actually comes from strawberry extracts.

The scrub is a mix of sugar and strawberry seeds and you need to spend a little time working it around your lips. It’s quite stiff so if you need it to be looser, add a bit of extra balm.

I’m also flagging up the Lanolips Strawberry Jellybalm in a pinkish red which is perfect for those of us who are red-shy. You get such a lovely amount of shine on this that the intensity of colour is dispersed – plus it’s translucent in the first place so you’re getting a red that shows but doesn’t glare.

There was a time when I had a tube of Lanolips in every single one of my bags and pockets and while now the world and its’ wife has a lip balm in their range so I’ve diversified, I’m still extremely fond of the lanolin based brand. I find it great value for money as well as properly effective on problematic lips.

The scrub is on offer HERE for £7.20 and the JellyBalm is £8.50 HERE.
