If we needed any louder or clearer signal that looking to all things Eastern is the way that beauty is headed right now, Sephora (US) have started stocking this beautiful looking range, Koh Gen Do. The line was born in 1987 and is the brainchild of Japanese actress, Ai Saotome, who needed something to help her skin through the gruelling hours of heavy make-up while filming. With their roots in homeopathy and botanicals, there are a couple of products I really want to get my hands on; namely, Gommage Spa Gel and Cleansing Spa Water (above).

It sounds good – I hope its not too perfumed though……

The Oriental Plant products look amazing too. Not too sure about the makeup shades however I can only assume the formulations would be amazing! 🙂

I’m so intrigued by this line, unfortunately they don’t carry them in Sephora stores, so I can’t sample them! The foundations sound gorgeous, as does that cleansing water!

I have both of these items and love them! The cleansing water is very gentle and does not have a strong smell. The gommage is gentle as well. I also have the cleansing cloths and they are very thick unlike most make up removed wipes. I fell in love with this line from reading reviews on another blog. I also have the Aqua foundation. 🙂
