[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Normally, I don’t include products that are sent without good reason to do so and I’ve reviewed Jo Malone London so many times – I’ve covered Pomegranate Noir and Lime, Basil & Mandarin several times before but this was a gifting mailer to generate coverage but with nothing new to show. However, last summer, I bought my daughter’s friend her favourite Jo Malone London fragrance for her wedding day – it was the one she always liked to have a spritz of whenever she came over and my favourite, too – Orange Blossom – so it reminded me that there is good reason to talk about the brand because it is just the most perfect wedding season present to oneself for the big day or to brides/grooms as their gift from you. If there’s a match to the bouquet, all the better. Those getting married these days more often than not have everything they need or want already so the traditional toaster has been laid to rest I think!
Our friends’ daughter, who we have known since she was 4, is getting married at the end of the summer and I’m giving her a Jo Malone London candle. We’re not going to the wedding itself but I still wanted to send a little token to mark the day and it seems the ideal thing. They can keep the glass when the candle is burned away if they want to.
Jo Malone London Summer GiftingYou can get the silver lid engraved as an even more special touch if you want to. If at all in doubt, get the Red Roses candle, £55 HERE – it’s never not romantic. I think I still prefer the originals – Grapefruit, Orange Blossom, Red Roses etc to any of the newer iterations and I seem to remember that they did a Parma Violet candle that I was completely obsessed with for a while. That’s one I definitely would like to see back again!
