IsaDora Cosmetics

IsaDora cosmetics sent me some samples of their Eye Trios. Not being a fan particularly of mineral cosmetics, they’re actually pretty good in some beautiful colour choices. They’re almost all ‘my’ colours, so of course I love the schemes, but actually the textures are really beautiful too and give a real wow in terms of pay off.

In the swatch pictures, you can see how the shimmer comes to life in the sun. Now the bad news – although IsaDora is available in over 40 countries, it isn’t available in the UK. Tsk.

UPDATE: When I wrote this, I thought that the trios were minerals.. in fact they aren’t (my mistake entirely) BUT interestingly they are baked shadows with a special production technique..placed on a terracotta plate and oven baked. The reason for oven baking? The process means less binders are needed in the formula which makes for more pigment….no wonder they’re so shiny!

  1. But they are in Germany!:D
I never tried the eyeshadows, but I’m pretty happy with their lipsticks. And they have pretty decent prices. 🙂

It’s a pitty you don’t have IsaDora in UK, cause they do really nice reasonably priced make up!

I hope they decide to come to UK as those eyeshadows look stunning.

They also have absolutely amazing powder bronzers – to my mind, they are even better than Guerlain’s Terracota products. IsaDora’s bronzing powders are incredibly soft and silky, easy to blend, you can choose between completely matt and slightly shimmery shades. Gorgeous.
IsaDora is quite popular in Russia where I come from.
