Illamasqua has stamped it’s own take on all things pink. These are the power-pinks; shades that use pink as a nuance or accent and then a whole heap of opposing pigment over the top. Illamasqua was never going to do girly! Above, in the picture you see the Shattered Stars Collection, from right to left: Fire Rose, a metallic pink with elements of silver, Trilliant, a myriad of pale gold particles and Marquise, my favourite, which has red gold elements with – I think I detect – pink notes to make up a power-packed orange. It’s got a touch of fluro to it as well, so Marquise is the killer colour from the Illamasqua Glamore swatches for nails.
As you can see, two of the Illamasqua Glamore nail polishes have differing size particles; it’s only Marquise that is uniform in size. The Illamasqua Shattered Star Nail Polishes are £15 each.
The Glamore vibe comes from the concept of glamour, but more (hence Glamore!). The collection launches on 27th February.
