Ilia Limited Edition Lip Balm Set Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I can see that my usual one post per day routine won’t suffice at the moment as Christmas gift options are coming in left, right and centre. I like to get as much as I can posted because if you’re stuck for ideas it’s good to have as many suggestions as possible.

This is a very cute Lip Wrap Reviving Balm set from Ilia whose products I genuinely like. They’re on the pricy side but I have never had anything from this brand that I haven’t enjoyed and that’s saying something. The four lip balms are about as perfect as tinted balms get. I’m a big fan of tinted balms because they’re a bridge between no make up and some make up and often pave the way for those of us who are lipstick shy to feel emboldened to try stronger colours.

With three colour options, the Lip Wrap Reviving Balm set gives you a chance to wear a nude, a red and a berry at an intensity you feel happy with. Believe me, I’ve been lipstick shy all of my life and can tell you that tinted balms have not always existed. I welcomed them with open arms as more and more brands began to see that lipstick isn’t right or comfortable for everyone. The other benefit is that they’re as opposite to matte textures as anything could be and with that you’ll get beautifully conditioned lips – every day!

Lip Wrap Reviving Balm—Ripe, Bare, and Bloom—plus classic clear. Ingredients include squalane, fig oil and coconut oil which will soften and protect the lips and as well as a clear balm for bed time, the shades are (from bottom to top) Bare, Ripe and Bloom. You can make merry and gloss right up for full shine and colour or you can just use your finger tip to apply a small amount that gives your lips some natural looking oomph and keeps them comfortable. It’s £50 for the set but it has an £81 value HERE.
