Okay, so my attempt to do trendy neon nails shot off at a tangent when all they did was remind me of Hazardous Material signs.

I used Nails Inc Portobello (orange) from Neons & Nudes Collection and Orly Glowstick (yellow) from SS2012, but crucially, if you want your neons to really, really pop, try using a white undercoat, such as Orly Dayglow from SS2012 which has a little bit of irridescence to it.
