Gorgeous, right? And not air-brushed. The model here is shown just exactly as she is as part of Boots commitment to improving body confidence. Tah-dah.

I never realized how much airbrushing took out the character from the face and eyes. What a beautiful model and picture. Maybe others will follow suit?

  3. Ah I hope this starts a new trend for all magazines and media. Shes so beautiful as she is and it will give so many girls such a confidence boost!

The model looks great. Good for Boots. Just wish they weren’t now Swiss based.

I’m so so pleased that other companies have followed Debenham’s example. I hope to live in a society where there will be no airbrushing and women of all shapes, sizes, colours and textures can be celebrated.

Aw, I really miss the Boots magazine! None of the pharmacy chains here do any kind of decent mag. Good on Boots for not airbrushing anymore : )

I love that they are doing this. There are naturally beautiful women out there without having to make them a size 0 and virtually flawless. I noticed they started doing this a few months ago in one of the other issues.

Small steps, great news. Now it needs one of the glossies to have some balls and do the same – cover and inside too – especially FULL BODY shots – we want to see real bodies! Boots are a purveyor of health goods so it’s natural that they should be pioneering the body confidence campaign.

Yay, this is fantastic! I think all magazines should start doing this – it should be a legal requirement I think!
