Guerlain Terracotta Light Bloom Bronzer

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] With impeccable timing bang on for the heat wave, Guerlain introduces it’s summer limited edition for Terracotta. Light Bloom Bronzer has a pink centre for a touch of blush if you want it – the golden aspect is overspray so that won’t last throughout the compact but initially gives a smattering of sparkle.

I guess you could say the design is a bit sunflower-ish – personally, I don’t like shimmer on that level on my face so I’d be happier when it wears away but I do appreciate the golden notes of the ‘petals’ in terms of absolutely loveliness to look at!

I don’t think I need to elaborate on Terracotta because it’s an iconic product that (I think) everyone already knows but will just touch on the texture. I am not a powder fan but Terracotta is a rare exception for being almost creamy on the skin. The scent is holiday-in-a-compact – lead by Tiare flower and coconut with a touch of ylang-ylang and jasmine and makes me think of nice hotels, hot sun and wafting (expensive) kaftans. You know how Mediterranean beach or pool goer always seem to have the most beautiful, appropriately casual-glamorous pool-side wear that is impossible to find in the UK and yet seems to be on every corner in the South of France? It’s the smell of that. To me, anyway.  The shade is for medium warm tones in my view. You can find it HERE for £39, non-affiliate is HERE. If you purchase two Guerlain products, you get a free KissKiss lipstick in Sexy Coral which is the perfect summer orange-pink so if you have any gifts to buy or top-ups to get, now is the time.
