I don’t know why these beauties are called Lip Inks because they’re not like anything else of that name that I’ve tried. I’d call them Lip Blurs actually because they form an optical softening film across your lips. You can build them up or keep them at a low, soft intensity. There are 15 shades split into four sections – Nude Shades (Flawless, above) Essential Shades (Empowered, above), Daring Shades and Crazy Shades, plus a blue tint.
There are also two new nail shades, including the one shown (going on my nails tonight!) called Black Cherry Ink.
I really like both these shades – so wearable and I love the blur effect. In texture they have a completely weightless feel but I haven’t tested them for longevity as my lips are so dry at the moment I don’t think I can give a fair result.
Anyway, if you want to explore more, they’re launching in February for £23 each.
