Go-To Skincare

Go-To Skincare

Ever since I heard about Go-To Skincare I’ve been so interested in it, so I was delighted when the postman delivered a selection of products all the way from Australia. I am hoping that some wise UK beauty buyer will be on this quick as a knife because it as all the right ingredients to become a cult range.

Go-To Skincare is a cruelty free, natural range founded by beauty editor, Zoe Foster Blake. Here’s the statement that made me jump for joy, “There are no irritants or nasties, no faux-science (“Now with added Wrinkleflickatox™ and Moisturemagic® particles!”) and no silly claims.” To my mind, this is the future of skincare. Go-To doesn’t dwell on all your imperfections, it barely mentions anti-ageing, it just points the way to healthy, happy, glowy skin at every age with a sense of humour and a solid ingredient list.

Go-To Skincare

I’ve been using Exfoliating Swipeys since they arrived and love them – I definitely got that proper exfoliating ‘tingle’ from the lactic acid but wasn’t left with dry or taut skin. Not bad for a wipe and a time saver in my skincare routine, such as it is. The smell of  (for body bits anywhere) is slightly sweet and exotic in fragrance and the texture is light as air; the moment this hits your skin you know its good stuff. It’s 50% monoi oil, followed by mango, avocado, jojoba and just about every other skin loving oil you can think of. It does however, contain beeswax, so won’t hit the vegan friendly mark on that.

Go-To Skincare does ship internationally – you might want to buddy up on an order because it’s a scary price, or start pestering SpaceNK, Beautymart or any of the other retailers to GET THIS IN!
